Critteria

The last survivors of the galaxy have gathered here — a drifting island between the stars. The player must herd colorful Critters into their new home, balance Critter drama, unlock new Critters, and ultimately attract legendary Critters to secure the colony. 

There are 27,231,750 Critter Combinations — try and find them all or create your own unique Critter!

Draw random Critters from your deck and place them on AREAS. Their proximity to other Critters creates FOOD  (your currency) or DRAMA  (your lose condition) or both! 

Watch out! The  generated each turn is permanent and will stack if you're not careful. Make sure to re-arrange your Critters to get the maximum amount of  with as little  as possible!

CRITTERS

•  PREDATOR: +2 Food when next to Prey. +1 Drama when next to any critter.
•  PREY: +1 Food when placed next to a Scavenger.
•  SCAVENGER: No effect.

AREAS

•  PLAINS: Neutral ground, no special effects.
•  MOUNTAINS: Fliers +2 Food. If placed elsewhere, +1 Drama.
•  LAKES:  Swimmers +2 Food. If placed elsewhere, +1 Drama.

Purchase new Critters using the  you generated during herding. Purchased Critters get shuffled into your deck. 

Be careful! If you don't spend your , it resets for the next turn! Generate enough  in one turn to purchase a powerful APEX Critter.

Buy VOUCHERS  at the store using your  and select new AREAS to expand your play field. Remember, you can only unlock new AREAS that are adjacent to previously unlocked AREAS. 

LEFT MOUSE BUTTON to select Critters. Hold, drag, and release to place Critters in AREAS. 

HOLD RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON to rotate both CRITTERS (shop, creator) and CAMERA (herding). 

WASD to move the camera while herding. 

ESC to access Pause Menu and Settings.
